This game was inspired by my family. After playing it so much, I decided to make an electronic version for anyone to try.

Players: Up to 36, ideally 6 or more

Duration: 30 min - 1 hour

How To Play

Welcome to SKIP, a family game about guessing hidden words as quickly as possible.

First, you will form (up to 6) teams of (up to 6) players.

Each team will take turns participating while the others spectate.

The participating team will have one member as the designated clue-giver.

One member from a DIFFERENT team will handle the scoring.

The rest of the participating team will be attempting to guess the words.

Make sure the guessers face AWAY from the screen, only spectators and the clue-giver can see the screen until the round is over.

Once the round starts, the clue-giver will be shown words to describe to their team under a time limit.

The clue-giver will describe the word to their team in hopes of them guessing the word.

The clue-giver may NOT say the word itself or any word that contains the word.

The clue-giver may NOT pantomime, they must ONLY talk.

The guessers can shout as much as they like in order to guess the word.

After guessing the word, the opposition team can award them a point and a new word will be given.

For whatever reason if the clue-giver wishes to change their word, they may yell ‘SKIP’ in order for the opposing team to change their word. Skipping does not award any points.

Once the time limit has been reached, the amount of words guessed are added as points to the respective team.

A new team is chosen and then repeats this process.

Each time the same team is chosen, a different player must become the clue giver until everyone receives a chance.

After a set number of rounds, the game ends and the team with the most points wins.
